    Las cajas de legumbres y verduras aumentaron sus precios casi en un 100%; se están vendiendo al doble de lo habitual, dicen negociantes.

TEGUCIGALPA, HONDURAS.- El mercado hondureño, en especial el capitalino, comienza a sentir los efectos negativos de los cierres de calles y protestas en Guatemala, país vecino.

Según reportes de los comercios locales, ciertos alimentos están empezando a desaparecer y los que quedan serán pocos para la alta demanda de los ciudadanos.

“Nos enfrentamos a una escasez de zanahorias, papas, bananos y otras legumbres, ya que no estamos recibiendo productos de los chapines”, manifestó Joel Figueroa, un distribuidor de verduras.
