1. Social Security restart medical attention
Honduran Social Security authorities restored medical attention to almost 20,000 government employees, after ministers and directors promise to pay the debt of 400 million lempiras (more than USD 19 million) to the institution.
2. Prosecutors suspended for release pilots
Two public prosecutors were suspend in the last hours by Attorney General's office because they release two suspects of carrying drugs in a jet, including prosecutors coordinator in La Ceiba, north of Honduras, and several members of the DLCN (anti-narcotics department)
3. Attended 231,956 requests of voters change of address
The National Register (RNP) attended this year 231,956 applications of voters change of address, declared the director Jorge Reina García. Other 30,992 requests were rejected because fingerprints didn´t match with the electoral register. More then 60 communities are investigative for irregular applications.
4. Mother sent to jail for try to poison her kids
Magna Marbella Rodríguez, mother of five, was send to prison for try to poison her kids on wednesday in El Progreso, Yoro, north of Honduras. The woman said that she didn´t have anything to feed her children and wished to die, but her boys and girls were crying and begging her to not let them alone. She will be present in front of a judge in six days.
5. 3,000 cops will be protecting the Azteca Stadium
At least 3,000 cops will be protecting the Azteca stadium from a possible teachers protest in Mexico City. Where tonigh at 7:30 PM, the national soccer teams of Mexico versus Honduras will dispute a qualifying game for the World Cup Brazil 2014.
