1. Police officials met with members of political party

President of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras (UNAH), Julieta Castellanos, revealed that former police officials implicated in the assassination of her son, Rafael Alejandro Vargas Castellanos (22) and his friend, Carlos Pineda Rodríguez (24), have met with members of the political party with a chance to win next election. Castellanos
is concerned because these officials may be reintegrated if these political party will win the election.

2. Strangers killed vice Mayor of La Masica, Atlántida

On Tuesday morning, vice Mayor of La Masica, Atlántida, Marco Leverón, was killed for strangers in his home, in a community near the city. Relatives of Leverón called the local fire department in an effort to save his life, but when they arrive, vice Mayor had died.

3. Public Minister's employees protest

Employees of Public Minister protested for two hours, demanding a wage increase to the new authorities. Public defenders said that the former general prosecutor, Luis Rubí, promised them the increase since this October.

4. Electoral Colleged launched campaign 'Your turn'

Electoral College launched a campaign to motivated voters go to the polls next November 24th. 'Your turn' campaign tries to raise people awareness about participating in the electoral process. Voters also received information about elections.

5. National Party advantage in survey

Campaign manager of the National Party, Óscar Álvarez, said that they advantage of seven points to Libre Party in Paradigma survey. According to Álvarez, people will vote for the National Party candidate, Juan Orlando Hernández, because he approved laws to deal with crime.
