1. UNAH Sports Center open tomorrow

The biggest Sports Center in Central America will open tomorrow in the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras (UNAH) of Tegucigalpa. The 700 million lempiras (USD 34,550,839.09) building will host XIV University Games of Central America and Caribbean. Athletes from 13 countries will participate in University Games.


2. Renal dialysis patients protest

Renal dialysis patients protested this morning in the specialty hospital of Social Security in Comayagüela. They reveal that aren't receiving complete treatment or medicine because the institution doesn't have enough space to attend them.

3. President travel to Vatican City

President Porfirio Lobo traveled yesterday to Vatican City to meet Pope Francisco. Lobo and the First Lady Rosa Elena will give a copy of the statue of Honduran Virgin, Suyapa, to the Saint Father. The statue will be place in St. Peter´s Basilica gardens.

4. Millionaires increase in Honduras

World Ultra Wealth Report 2013 published today, reveal that number of millionaires increased in Honduras since 2012. According to Wealth X, Honduran millionaires rise of 205 to 215 in one year.

5. Floods in Comayagüela markets

Because a storm registered on tuesday, El Sapo watercourse
increased its level through Colón, Quinta Avenida and San Isidro markets in Comayagüela. A similar flood occurred last week.
