Venezuelan residents in Honduras call to rally

The Venezuelan community resident in Honduras announced Wednesday a rally starting at 2:00 PM, in front of the statue of Simon Bolivar in Tegucigalpa. The public demonstration aims to express solidarity with the Venezuelans protest in the past two weeks,
to speak out against the government of President Nicolas Maduro.

Public Ministry investigates 100 cases of human trafficking

The Public Ministry is investigating a hundred cases of human trafficking in Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula, the country's main cities, revealed the Office of the Children. According to the agency, Honduras is a country of transit, origin and destination of trafficking and sexual exploitation of girls.

President inaugurated English program

The online English program 'Yes, we can!' was officially opened on Wednesday by President Juan Orlando Hernandez and the director of the National Vocational Training Institute (Infop) Juan Diego Zelaya. It´s expected that about 20 thousand Hondurans learn English during 2014 through online courses.

The rewards will be law in Honduras

The rewards for information that lead to the capture of dangerous criminals will be converted into law in Honduras, according the secretary of th
the National Congress, Mario Perez. The amounts of these will depend on the crime committed by who is wanted by the authorities.

Demand inclusion of video as evidence in trial

Honduras's laws should be reformed so that videos are accepted as incriminating evidence in the courts of justice, said Wednesday the former judge of the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ), Felix Avila.
