1. Government announces sanctions to doctors
The Public Health Ministry would declare illegal the doctor´s strike next Monday, announced today the Job and Social Security minister, Jorge Bográn. According authorities, the doctor´s strike isn´t justified because the Government made payments to medical employees on time and sent medicines to public hospitals.
2. Public offices are closed
The Honduran Government declared as day off this Friday, changing for today the national holiday of October 3, Soldier´s Day, to support the National Football Team in classifying match against Costa Rica in San Pedro Sula. Just public offices are closed, private sector works normally.
3. Authorities protect public high school
National Police and Army has protected since yesterday the Central Vicente Cáceres high school in the Honduran capital, after the Education Ministry dismiss to principal Roberto Ordóñez because of several faults.
4. RNP report ID cloning
The National Register reported to Public Ministry the alleged crime of ID clones before the general elections of November 24. RNP´s authorities asked to prosecutors to investigate the formal complaint.
