1. Government intend to reduce homicide rate
Security Ministry wants to exclude more than a thousand dead
of the homicide rate in Honduras, that Violence Observatory of the National University register in the first half of the year. Security Minister, Arturo Corrales said that those deaths are not certified by public institutions.
2. Cardinal Rodriguez will meet with pope Francisco
The Archbishop of Tegucigalpa, Óscar Andrés Rodríguez will meet this Tuesday with pope Francisco. Rodríguez was designated coordinator of advisers, called Group of 8,
to initiated reform of the Roman Curia, the Vatican government. The first meeting will be held in papal apartment library from 1 to 8 October.

4. President raised Soccer Wold Cup
For second time, Honduras president Porfirio Lobo, raised FIFA World Cup, during Trophy tour in the country. Lobo had the same honor three years ago, for 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa. President was optimistic and said that 'we're going to Brazil 2014, there´s no doubt'.
5. Candidate denounced that Congress paid surveys
Candidate of Alianza Patriótica party, Romeo Vásquez denounced that recent survey, published last week, was paid with National Congress budget. According Vásquez, Congress invested 452 thousand Lempiras to pay the CID-Gallup survey in September.
