The government pays half of the salary
The Honduras Government announces on Friday that is going to pay half of salary to bureaucrats, so that they can travel to touristy places in Honduras. Hondurans celebrate Easter week from April 14 to 20, a time when most of people go to the beach and visit touristic places.
Arrested five gang active members
National Police captured five active members of gang 18, including a lady, in raids in San Pedro Sula, north of Honduras. Polices seized two Thompson rifles, a walkie-talkie, a charger for AK-47 and bulletproof vests.
Germany supports education program
Honduras and Germany signed an agreement to support educational programs in the country. Germany is going to pay out 11 million Euros as a cooperation to boost decentralization of education.
Complaint centers of National Police
The National Police announces that will open 17 complaint center in Honduras, for people can denounces criminal acts. This is a way to promote to complaints culture that allow authorities catch criminals.
