1. Honduran Navy seized 40.000 gallons of fuel

At least 40.000 gallons of fuel were seized in Honduran waters in the Atlantic Ocean, on suspicion of smuggling, said this Thursday the Navy of Honduras. The ship 'Gabriela', with Honduran flag, was intercepted late on Wednesday, 80 to 120 nautical miles from east of the Atlantic coast of Honduras, by the corvette 'Lempira'.

2. Transportation strike in Tegucigalpa

Transportation leaders paralyzed more than 150 units, leaving hundreds of persons without the possibility of moving into these units. The buses were stationed in
El Carrizal neighborhood,
north of Tegucigalpa in demand of government´s bond and other benefits.

3. Two more patrol boats arrived to Amapala

The Honduran Navy received today two new boats to
defending national sovereignty in the Gulf of Fonseca and the fight against drug trafficking in the Pacific Ocean. The two boats, bought by the Honduran government to Holland, arrived in the corvette Lempira, which docked at the Navy base in Puerto Cortés in early September.

4. Honduran airline announce international route

Honduran CM Airlines will tentatively launch its first international service on November 11 with a weekly Guatemala City-San Pedro Sula-Tegucigalpa-Guatemala City route. Flights will be operated on board a Saab 340A, with capacity for 33 passengers.

5. Centroamérica Boulevard closed 10 pm to 5 am

Mayor´s Office announced that during the night hours
vehicular traffic will be closed on the Centroamérica Boulevard, because of the works on the demolition of the pedestrian bridge in that way, for the new system of transportation Trans450.
