1. Massacre in Chamelecón
Five persons, including a five year old girl, were murdered at early morning at 10 de Septiembre neighborhood, Chamelecón, south of San Pedro Sula. The massacre occurs in a house used as school in that community. The victims were identified as: David Carías (31), Daniela Martínez (5), Delmi Carías (38), Helen Rivera y Carmen Valdivieso (36).
2. RNP begins to deliver identification cards
The Registro Nacional de las Personas (RNP) stars today to deliver at least 300,000 identification cards in the neighborhoods of Tegucigalpa y Comayagüela. The deliver will be personal in more than 5,000 voting centers, since today and until October 13.
3. Campaign against cancer stars today
Emma Romero de Callejas Cancer Center began this Tuesday a 'pink' campaign against the breast cancer, the second commonest type in Honduras women besides cervix cancer. This year´s slogan to prevent and detect the disease is: Gotta feel it!
4. Porfirio Lobo preaches his ministers
Honduran President Porfirio Lobo Sosa preached his minister because of their bad orthography. According Lobo, the officials use to much then tablets and smartphones, ignoring orthographic rules. 'I ask to you to consider your orthography' to write decrees, said during the cabinet council of this Tuesday.
5. FIFA World Cup arrives to Tegucigalpa
The FIFA World Cup arrives today to Tegucigalpa in its tour for 89 countries before Brazil 2014. The trophy is displayed just for today in Children´s Museum Chiminike.
