1. Salvadoran Army can´t fight for Conejo island

The Salvadoran Defense Minister, David Munguía Payés, declared that his country´s Army couldn´t fight with Honduran military forces for Conejo Island, located in Fonseca Gulf, over the Pacific Ocean. According Munguía, El Salvador has only four military planes and Honduras has 'a significant difference' of 25.

Electoral Commission commands the Honduran Army

Since this Wednesday, at least 14,000 members of Honduran Army are available for the custody and protection of electoral material, under the command of the Electoral Commission, in compliance with the Honduran Constitution.

3. President Lobo met employees of Catarino Rivas Hospital

President Porfirio Lobo met this morning with the Mario Catarino Rivas Hospital´s employees, who demand the salary payment of the last nine months. Lobo will visit the medical center next week to confirm the compliance of the agreements with nurses, doctors and cleaning staff.
