1. Mexico ask for extradition
Mexican authorities asked their counterparts in Honduras the extradition of a Honduran accused of falsifying public documents, report this Friday the Supreme Court. Last May, the Supreme Court of Honduras approved the legal instrument that allows the extradition of Honduran involved in illicit.
2. Agree between Government and transport sector
After several negotiations, the transport sector was able to reach a consensus with the Honduran Government, said
the spokesman, Marvin Galo. According to the agreement, payment of subsidies will follow a schedule.
3. Guillén: Honduras overcame 2009 political crisis
Honduran Vice president María Antonieta Guillén highlighted today the efforts of the Government of Honduras to achieve reconciliation and national unity, during
the 68th General Assembly of the United Nations. Guillén attended global forum on behalf of President Porfirio Lobo Sosa and said in her speech that 'we have successfully overcome a severe political crisis that hit Honduras for the Government that preceded us.'
4. Gold medal to Honduras in ODUCC 2013´s football
Honduras won the gold medal in men and women´s soccer in the
XIV University Games of Central America and Caribbean (ODUCC 2013). The male team took the gold after beating Panama 1-0, while the women's team won 2-1 at Costa Rica.
5. At least three murders in the Honduran capital
A scene in the style of the executions of Mexican cartels was seen at early morning in Tegucigalpa. A man with his hands cuffed
back was hanged by the neck in Estocolmo bridge in Comayagüela. The case is one of three violent acts that have occurred in the last hours in the Honduran capital.
